    Strange noise

Hi all, do not know if this is a problem or not but my pc has started over the last few days making a Whirring noise, this is happening at 20 or so second intervals, at first i thought it was a fan failing so i took the side cover off but after 30 mins the fans are all still running ok.

It almost sounds like when a cd drive is spinning down, but no i do not have a cd in the drive.

I have about a week ago put in the 4.12 Nvidia IDE drivers could these maybe causing one of the HD's to spin down, or is it more likely one of the drives is on the way out, if so how can i tell.

    Thanks inadvance.

They are indeed good, but so is the Arctic VGA cooler at a fraction of the cost. However the Zallman Heatpipe is silent.

Well - My "Connect 3D" fan lasted about... 6 weeks.

It's got an Iceberq thingmo on it now though so it glows Bl00 too.
