Has anyone got one of these, what are they like? how fast are they able to go?

Got 1, it is very nice :)
2.7GHz (260fsb) on air.
Make sure that you get the 1.45V version & not the 1.65V - I recommend CPU City.
Is that 260fsb in the bios or acctual fsb?
I got mine to 12x225 with water. Got mine from CPU city, same as Buff. Good value chips, tho these days i'd go 4 an a64 2800 or 3000. Personal pref I might add.
So the acctual fsb is well over 400 then.
No that is actual fsb with AMD chips. You're thinking of Intel/P4's
12x225=2700MHz
Why the lower voltage?Quote:

Basicly yes, or they can have their voltage upped to higher normal levels and be clocked to the the max :P :D
Because if it will run stable at a lower voltage at stock speeds, then you can up the voltage on a 1.45v to 1.65v and it will give you a higher overclockm and of course you can then continue upping the voltage, but there is a limit to the voltage motherboards can supply, and chips can take, so the lower the starting stable voltage the better :)Quote:

Nothing tangible imo. A few fps or a minute or two processing Boinc or Seti. Mainly it's because .... you can ;)
i know :)
Just considering replacing my normal barton for a mobile in me shuttle :cool:
Make sure you have enough voltage control in the Shuttle SFF BIOS first.Quote:

thats more than enuff mate, im runnin mine at 1.6v at the mo - 2.2ghz
it goes 2.3 with 1.725 but i cba any more, it gets too hot, i dont think its wise running a full tower with 1 fan
that being the CPU fan :p a crap stock AMD jobbie, i need some fat 80mms and a few others then ill see how it goes :D
