nice system ,must have cost you a bundle new,you would be lucky to get half that unless you split it and sell.

Re: How much is my pc worth?

You bought the kit and got the warranties that came with it, whoever buys it off you might not. Another issue is that you can't show how well any of that kit was treated. For instance, that CPU was very popular for overclocking, any buyer would be taking quite a gamble with regards to future performance and reliability. Same goes for the motherboard, memory, CPU, etc. How much have you stressed that kit? You can't really show that.
My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

I think it's better if you sell it in parts, you'll get more moneyzzz

Re: How much is my pc worth?

due to it being your 1st build and overclocked no one here would give anything near what you think its worth.

fator in over 1 year old and total would be about £500

    year old is outdated now

Re: How much is my pc worth?

    sorry i misread that!

anyway if you can get 4ghz out that i7 its got a couple of years left in it!

just upgrade to a better video card if you game on it as the 280's not up to much compared to a 480/580

Re: How much is my pc worth?

That looks cool must've been expensive i like the water-cooling! Ive always thought about overclocking but i doubt there's much u can do on air cooling, my rooms quite hot at times so my idle temps are about 35 degrees doubt overclocking would be a good idea lol!!

Re: How much is my pc worth?

its more to do with getting the heat away from the cpu better and having a huge surface area to dissapte the heat.

your case is geared toward water cooling anyway

Like the others, I think your best bet is to strip it all down and list the individual components on eBay. It's likely you won't see an awful lot of that £1500 back otherwise.
