    Hybrid Crossfire With New GPUs

Im thinking of upgrading my media centre to a low power athlon chip and dual booting it so i can do a bit of lighter gaming with it and i was wondering if the energy saving features of hybrid crossfire would work with the AM3 socket motherboards and a HD5750 or HD5770?

Re: Hybrid Crossfire With New GPUs

    I dont think so...

IIRC, hybrid crossfire works only on low spec discrete cards only, i.e. the HD3450 bits..

Don't think it'll work too far upwards, but I could be wrong!
    Me want Ultrabook

Re: Hybrid Crossfire With New GPUs

Hmm i was hoping that was just for the multi GPU processing and the power saving features would work with any ATI card
