Just come from a Q6600 to the above, I don't know what is special about the Extreme editions apart from unlocked multiplier, but what does that mean to me?

It has an unlocked multiplier that goes up to 31 in the Bios, I am up and running now, but have no idea what to do with the multiplier. :S
