Hi - I got one a few weeks back and have been very happy with it. No common problems that I'm aware of.Quote:

The only prob I had was no sound initially, caused by the front connector on the mobo coming loose but easily fixed :)
Swapped the Sunon like everyone does for a Noiseblocker S4 and fitted a CF-631 LCD in the 3.5" bay / put a reflectix front on it and it looks sweet.
Wish I'd gone SFF ages ago :D
Yeah, They Rock!
Make sure you get a Shuttle black monitor to match
Cheers guys. I didn't know there was two revs of it. I've ordered it from MicroDirect. I'll have to wait and see if it turns out to be a rev2.
Yeah the black models are definately teh sex imo :D
Couldn't find an AMD version of one though when i was getting mine, gutted!
I did almost get the Athlon 64 shuttle but the entire black look of the SB75G2 and the grilled sides won me over in the end.
I love the look of the Athlon 64 model, with the smooth front panel and Card Reader built in instead of a 3.5" bay, really looks neat
drp, don't say that!! I have just about convinced myself I had made the right decision. :D
Just took another look at MD page on this....

and noticed it is on special. That is making me think this may be a rev 1 they are trying to clear stocks on :-/
I hope not, I really wanted the 250w silent x PSU.
*fingers crossed*
Yeah thats usually the case im afraid to say mate :(
Ah yes, you just gave me a reminder that im still to upgrade the standard PSU in this box to the SilentX version :D
Love mine, i really do.
Get yourself a silentx fan to replace the standard 80mm one and speedfan (program) so that you can control the speeds of them in windows.
Thats about all youve got to do :)
Wol
Well im just gonna get the SilentX PSU and then the S3 Noiseblocker fan for a replacement of the standard CPU fan. Have the fan speed set to Auto/Medium and then it'll be fine :)
You can also get hold of a Zalman Northbridge heatsink to replace the fan. I did that a couple of months ago and had no problems.
I have a Noiseblocker ICE fan, Silent-X PSU, Northbridge heatsink and both hard drives set to the lowest acoustic level and with Speedfan at 5% the system is ridiculously quiet.
Gord Im amazed you never asked my advice :D
Dude SB75G2 is the best Intel XPC, although you should of waited for the SB75S Here . :D
I tried but you kept signing out of Messenger faster than I can type :PQuote:
