    Best fan controllers

Can anyone advise me on what I should be looking for with LCD fan controllers? Also, how does one tell if fans they buy (going by specs) have RPM sensors on them? I know that the yellow wire normally gives this away but the info is not always there so any input would be good.

    Re: Best fan controllers

I have used this one for years. It has different coloured bezels to suit most cases and if you put the plastic front with the writing on it behind the metal bezel it looks even cooler. I think it can slow a fan dow to 5v too. I use it with a couple of Akasa Amber 120mm fans.

    Re: Best fan controllers

TBH I think something like this looks a lot smarter, and it comes with 4 temperature sensors, displays fans speeds, with analogue dials of up to 4 fans:

Damn that looks good and I just ordered the akasa one from scan! I ignored the scythe as the picture and info on scan is not great. Is the scythe one this one: http://www.scythe-eu.com/en/products...ze-master.html

    Re: Best fan controllers

yep thats the one, they do two sizes, one 51/4, and one 31/2, but they are easy to tell appart (one does 2 and one does 4 fans)

As to changing scans order, suppose you would just have to call them?
