Which replacement motherboard?
I've been using an ASUS M3A79-T Deluxe for about 7 months now. It's running a 940 pin Phenom II X4 940 BE at stock speeds. As many other owners have found, the board makes a high pitched whining noise which I've had enough of now. The store I bought it from are happy to RMA it but I don't need the downtime and have lost faith in this particular board model.
So what should I replace it with? It must be an AM2+ board since I can't fit my 940 pin chip in a 938 pin AM3 socket ;)
Possible options...
Asus M4A79 Deluxe - improved power bits and pieces apparently, but very similar. So similar it's likely to have the same noise problem?
MSI DKA790GX - don't know MSI, don't need onboard video.
Any input appreciated :)

Re: Which replacement motherboard?
Scan have quite a few AM2+ 790 series motherboard for reasonable prices:

If you do not need integrated graphics the Crossfire capable Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD3P looks a decent motherboard for the price:

If you require integrated graphics then the DFI DK 790GX-M2RS also looks decent for the price:

Re: Which replacement motherboard?
+1 for the Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD3P - unlikely many 790X motherboards it has the newer SB750, rather than the aging SB600...
