    Silent PSU

Looking for a PSU that is going too be damd nigh silent as possible. Around the 400 watt mark. Needs too be quite good quality ie stable because i just got into overclocking and i think the one i have is causing reboots. Only a cheapo qtec gold. Any ideas???

The Zalman options are the hush hush PSU's mate The enermax versions have the speed control of the main fan so can be made as quiet as possible and has given me no problems so far

I can recomend the Nexus 3500, its 350 watt but top quality and very quiet. Just has 1 120mm fan in it that spins up automaticcaly when the temp gets to high. Never had mine speed up though, always on the slow quiet setting. I have it powering a lot of kit, 2 HDD's, 2 optical drives, Rad9800Pro, 4 CC's and 3 fans with no trouble.

In that case mate the Zalman would do nicely for the noise level issue, but I am unsure about its reliability. The enermax will definately sort you out though

there's the much hyped (deservedly, from the hexus review) Tagan 480W supplies for around £60ish...supposed to be quieter than the zalmans.
