    Question Laptop for a meagre budget of £300

    Dear all,

    I would be gratefull if you could recco some good laptops within the budget of £300?

    With Windows 7 and Vista I would be looking for a dual core processor and a minimum of 2GB of RAM to make sure you have some extra processing power in the system. A single core processor and 1GB would still work but at a lower speed and TBH spending the extra on a dual core CPU and extra RAM is worth it in the long run.

    PC World refurbish have a few under £300. A bit of a gamble, but most are like new from what I've read. Been refurbished by manufacturer.

    If you increase budget to £320 there is a greater selection.

    As PC World is in the DSi group, Currys and Dixons lists same stock.

    Also Dell Outlet for refurbished laptops. Link just click on price colume to change order from cheapest to most expensive. Remember these prices exclude VAT and delivery, so it will increase at checkout.
