Laptop recommendations (with a reliable GPU!)
Looking for something with recent hardware such as DD3 and SATA II. It needs to support SSDs fully, (i.e. be able to set AHCI in the BIOS, support NCQ and so on) and virtualization tech.
Also any insight into onboard graphics will be appreciated. I’ve seen a couple of laptops with faulty nvidia 8400 (and I think that is common) and I know that some years ago ATI had some pretty horrible laptop graphics (as in high failure rates).
At work we look after hundred s of laptops all with Intel’s graphics and haven’t had a single failure. No doubt performance is pants but reliability and the aforementioned is my priority.
P.S. No Apples

Intel integrated graphics cards have had some of the worst driver support I have seen for ages.

granted that but but they seem reliable. that's not too much of a concern for me, the other things I'm more interested in.
