I take it you've looked in computer management?
You probably just need to assign a drive letter.
My Computer > Right Click > Manage > Stoarge > Disk Management
Right click the drive and choose "Change Drive Letters / Paths"
In Drive management it doesnt show the drive at the top along with my C:\ & D:\ yet underneath it does. The right click options offered on the undernath part are: covert to Dynamic Disk, Convert to GPT Disk. Any of them ?
Done it. Thanks have been allocated appropriately :)
Cool :)
Just for future information.....
Dynamic disks you want to stay away from, they can be a pain when it comes to re-installing or using the drive elsewhere.....normally only used when creating a software RAID, which most people should not want or need.
GPT is a different partitioning scheme that is needed to break the 2TB drive barrier....the problem with GPT currently is that you cannot boot from a GPT disk unless your PC has EFI instead of the classic BIOS (AFAIK, MSI have a couple of boards avilable but its a tech that isn't taking off outside of the Mac world).
