    UPS & Speaker Advice Please.....

Hi, hope you're enjoying your weekend!

I'm a bit a lost on the following areas and need some advice!

I've purchased a UPS before but that was a while ago and have now lost the links establishing what makes a decent one, I also remember that some PSU's don't mix well with some UPS.

With that in mind, I've been looking for one but at a decent price point, hence I was wondering if the Zigor brand is regarded well?

I'm looking at this one: http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/p...gor/18591.html

My choice is slightly hampered by the fact that I'd prefer to use your standard UK 3 pin plugs plugged into them rather than the kettle leads!

Would it also be an issue using my Enermax Modu82+ 425W PSU with this or any other UPS?

Anyone have opinions and suggestions on how this will fare?
    Do you have one?
Any other recommendations for a UPS at around this price (£40), I know not a good budget but it'll have to do for the moment.

Now onto the speaker side, I've recently purchased an older 2.1 sound system, haven't really been happy with it, let's just say it's not great and not of Logitech or Creative!

I'm completely lost when it comes to sound quality!

With this in mind, I've been looking at products with some goods reviews and have finalised it to 3 products at a decent price point!

    Logitech X240 2.1 Speaker System

Edifier E1100 Plus 2.1 Speaker System

    Review: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...em-review.html

As you can see I'm a bit stuck on which to choose but am thinking maybe the X240 or the E1100 Plus, which of the 3 would you recommend as they seem to be similarly priced?

Any other points on those speakers would be welcomed, do you own one, how do they fare?

Or is there sonething else around this price point that I may have missed?

    Thank You!

    Google keywords: sine wave.

Basically just get an appropriate APC Smart-UPS. I have a 750i, but it currently costs about £186. Buying a cheap £40 UPS to protect your data and £600+ of equipment is, IMO, not a wise decision.
