Laptop condition might be an important point too.

Probably around £600 second hand I think.

My Studio 15 was £750 new and has everything yours has but it has a backlight keyboard, 9 cell battery, i7 processor and a better graphics card.
Mine has no Blu-Ray or TV tuner though.

Have you looked at DEll Trade in?

    dell.trade-in-platform.com

Not necessarily the best option (I heve no experience of it) but you may wish to consider.

    Re: Value my laptop?

Why is a refurb not a valid comparison? I suspect in many cases it's only a matter of giving it a bit of a clean, checking the battery holds a charge and doing a factory restore!

My Thinkpad X61 was a refurb and saved me at least 200 quid off the store outlet price. It was in beautiful condition, and the battery had only been recharged twenty times! (edit: it also had two years left on the warranty)

    Re: Value my laptop?

Some "refurbs" are simply missing cables/manuals and are otherwise new.
    Workstation: Antec 902, Intel i5-750 Quad @ 4GHz (1.30V), Corsair H50, Gigabyte GA-P55-UD4, 4GB Geil Ultra Series PC3-17000 @ 2000MHz CAS8, 8800GT, 2x2x1TB Spinpoint F3 RAID0 (roll on EFI and cheap SSD!!!)
    HTPC/File Server: Antec 900, Intel E3200 Dual @ 4Ghz (1.36V), Akasa Nero, ASUS P5Q Pro, 9400GS, 4GB DDR2, 1x750GB Spinpoint F1, 4x750GB Hitachi Deskstar RAID5

    Re: Value my laptop?

Probably only £500, you'll get a better price for it if you stump up for Windows 7 and include that.
