    Corsair H50...

So, my case only has 80mm fan exhausts, i was thinking of getting a 80>120mm converter so i can use the Corsair H50, its jsut most of the converters seem to be made from plastic so im a bit skeptical whther they'd be able to hodl the weight of a fan & radiator. Any thoughts on how good this would be as a method? Ive also looked at fan converter for the front disc drive (5.25") bays but they all seem to be for specific brands like Akasa case's only etc.

    Re: Corsair H50...

The H50 is more expensive than a cheap but ok case like a Cooler Master Elite 330 or Antec 300... But then I checked what you had, and you probably won't want to dump a Lian-Li!

    Re: Corsair H50...

Which Lian-Li have you got? normally if a case only have an 80mm rear fan then it's narrow so a 120mm adaptor will not fit

    you could try this
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Shark...-or-120mm-fan)
    Should fit in any case

but a better bet (and better looking) would be a SCYTHE "KAMA BAY"

    Re: Corsair H50...

I was looking at that Sharkoon adaptor you've posted, albeit the one that only takes up 3 drive bays but still fits a 120mm fan. After looking at the pic on sharkoons website looks like it will fit perfectly. I'll bear the Sycthe product in mind but splashing out £20+ in addition to £60 for the H50 is starting to get a bit OTT Also, looking at the Sychte how would i attach the radiator, without the supplied Corsair fan presumebly ?

    Re: Corsair H50...

Ether fan with the rad behind it, or you could always go push / pull and use both fans
But for £20 it's a bit much ontop of the £60

Here's an idea if it would fit
    http://www.lian-li.com/v2/en/product...s_index=83&g=f
although probably not, a single 120mm fan version of this might work

    Re: Corsair H50...

And screw the radiator onto one of them ?

    Re: Corsair H50...

Yes somehow not sure as to how exactly.

Other option is mod the case or get something made up, you could try contecting http://www.chilledpc.co.uk/shop/ or http://mnpctech.com/ and see what they can do and how much it would cost.
However the cheapest option would be that sharkoon front fan mount.

Or of course get a new case
