Is the exclamation mark Scan like adding to the end of URLs. Fixed now.

Are you planning to use it on a e4500 as is in your specs?

It sould work fine, you remove the push pins from the acf7p bracket and use bolts to screw it down onto the backet.

however I'd consider the Xigmatek HDT S963 instead of the acf7p for a 92mm fan based tower cooler.
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Xigma...Fan-CPU-cooler

    Or better still
    CM hyper 212+ £18
    http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/117187...k/Product.html
It uses a bolt through bracket not push pins, being a 120mm fan based cooler it'll give better performance / less noise and it will fit in a antec 300 np.
Will also fit on am2/2+/3, socket 1156 and 1366 as well as 775 so you could carry it over if you change socket type.

I see no reason why it shouldn't fit. I've seen loads of people doing it.

You'll just need to remove the plastic push pins and replace 'em with the bolts.

Did same with my Akasa Nero, only thing is that I used them Thermalright ones.

    Just google for more info

F7Pro is push-pin, or do you want to bol it for extra effectivness ?
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Re: Artic Cooling Freezer 7 & Xigmatek Crossbow

Thanks guys. Feel ashamed I needed to ask, but been months since I even opened a computer!

Pob: CM 212 is out of stock which is a shame as would be nice to get 120mm within budget (which is ~£25 inc bolt-through kit).
Not for my E4500, I've learned that thing sucks no matter what cooler you fit. Is for a E5somethingorother. Brother just wants to play around a bit for now, so something cheap, cheerfull that'll get him in the direction of 3GHz is in order. Will checkout that S963 now, must admit I just picked on the ACF7P without a second though as everyone seems to own one of them!

@Terbinator: Wanna bolt-through whatever is fitted, as computer is often moved and knocked about.

Depends on how quickly you want it, it keeps coming into and out of stock, I ordered mine when it was out of stock and it came back into stock a week later.

Try sending play an email to ask when it's expected back in, the email address is well hidden so I'll tell you that it's customercare@play.com

I've been waiting for it to come back in and I've checked at least once everyday since I posted the thread about getting a new cooler and I still haven't seen it in stock. :/

Re: Artic Cooling Freezer 7 & Xigmatek Crossbow

Thanks Pob. Sent them an email yesterday so wait and see now.. Would like to get something sorted before the weekend tho, so they better be quick. If not think I'll go with the S963, as does get decent reviews and thinking it'll be easier to swap in a different fan if its particulary noisey.

    Thanks again all.
