    Urgent help needed.

I have had this ram problem with two separate motherboards.

    I have a m4n82 deluxe with a phenom 940.

It will boot with two sticks of ram but not 4. 2 in yellow dual channel works and 2 diff. sticks in black channel works. Adding more ram makes my geforce 275 spin at 100%.

It's worth noting it does spin for longer but eventually shows post.

    My ram is corsair pc2 6400 800mhz both 5-5-5-18.

What can i try. How do I know what a save NB voltage would be to set etc. Could it be that?

I checked my CPU voltage and on auto it's 1.280v and Changing to 1.35v still gives same problem.

    Re: Urgent help needed.

If using 4 sticks of memory you may indeed need to up the chipset voltage a notch (+0.1v would be fine)

Its also worth checking the memory settings too and manually set voltage / timings etc if you haven't already.

    Re: Urgent help needed.

I have got it to post but the CPU spins at 100% for nearly 3 times previous amount of time than other motherboard. Weird?

    Installed windows with no issues.

    Re: Urgent help needed.

Listen to what mac124 said, you gotta up your MCH/NB/Chipset voltage up by a bit. Not sure about AMD boards as I haven't overclocked with one but just upping it to the next 1 or 2 values after auto should work.
