Seems it may not be a problem after all: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=27394
nuclear fission ? :p
If the stock HSF on the NV40 is as big as people make it out to be, you'll probably find it hard to fit it in a Shuttle SFF in the first place....
Plenty of Mfr's planning single slot solutions like this one from Asus..
oops - remote linking not allowed :o Will post the link later :)
I will be intresting to see if Shuttle release a 300W SilentX PSU in response to the release of these cards. I wonder if they have any for testing.
PCMCIA are developing graphics cards to fit in shuttles from some release notes i found.
Otherwise, it COULD fit into the shuttle but it'd be touching the case so a bit of modding and you'd be sorted. Power doesn't seem a problem as the 6800 series draws the same amount of power as a 9800XT to be honest.
I'd love to have a 6800 in my shuttle system though.
In the end, one would probably have to add an extension to one end of it to fit one fo those Gargantuas :D

shuttle expansion to accommodate next year's geforce 7800 ultra
I still don't think you have enough space for the HSF ;D
Or enough soundproofing for that matter ^^Gord^^ ;)
lol, i thought that case was designed for the voodoo 5 ;)
