    epson c62 windows 7

friend of mine has recently upgraded his computer to an athlonII x4, win 7 home premium, am2+ 785 motherboard. hes got this old printer - the epson stylus c62 and cant get it working or recognised.

ill be looking at it next thursday and was just wondering whether there were any drivers for it i need, whether ill be wasting my time even trying, or are there any 'tricks' to getting it working.

any help appreciated (even if it is the best angle to hit it with a lump hammer)

Have you tried the XP driver?
    http://www.epson.co.uk/Printers-and-...ndingPage=true

How does it connect? If it is parallel port make sure these are enabled in the BIOS

    Wow so many panda's

With Windows 7 even if it doesn't have the drivers, the os often recognises the make/model.

You should see it in "devices and printers" and wil have an exclamation mark on it if it hasn't installed properly.

If WIn 7 is not even recognising that there is a device attached then try another USB cable or try another USB port
