Phantom SCSI device
Hi all, weird problem for you to think about.
My computer seems to have acquired a phantom device from nowhere.
It calls it a DVD/CDRW SCSI device. At the moment I have it disabled in device manager and it doesn't seem to be causing any problems but it irritates me and i'd quite like to get rid of it.
Any thoughts?

If you have DaemonTools or Alcohol 120% then it is the virtual drive it uses, i have one on my PC too.
-
Do you have Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120 installed?
-
Yeah I have alcohol 120 installed but i never use it. If i get rid of it will the drive go away?
Cheers for the replies

Open alcohol and select the virtual drives icon on the left hand side and set the number of virtual drives to 0 and the drive will be removed.
