When will the pricing start to settle in Jan

Looking to upgrade soon and I'm refraining from speccing up as I presume the prices will shuffle around a little with the VAT increase and the post Christmas vacuum. I was wondering if its normally towards the end or the start of January.

well depending on how long you can hold out for a couple of months the new nvidia cards should be out, which will shake up graphics card prices.

But as is sometime mid-late jan things should settle down a bit.
