    Lowest CPU temp you've seen?

And by that I mean without esoteric cooling like dry ice or LN2!

I had to test a graphics card last night so I got some spares out of a cupboard in my study to knock up a test rig. We don't really use that room much so we turned the heating in there off. When I fired it all up and loaded the BIOS the CPU temperature was reading 3 degrees on air!

Needless to say, I ran my test as quickly as possible and retreated to warmer parts of the house!

Really no point measuring the lowest temperature, because it will be approximately the same as your room temperature.

Just be careful that less than 3 degree will probably cause condensation and that could kill your whole system by a big short-circuit.

I've seen about 9-10C degrees before on an A64 3200+ when I was away for a few days and came back to a cold house.
