I thought the maximum voltage for an L2 stepping was 1.5V:

    http://processorfinder.intel.com/det...px?sSpec=SLA3H

The RAM is running at 690MHZ and is 800MHZ DDR2.

Tried lower voltages and it was not IBT stable.

I tended to use relatively modest voltage increases when I was overclocking my E4300 and Q6600 though. However the E2160 cost me less than £15 IIRC so I want to see how far it can go.

how good is your cooling cat if its ok going to 1.5v will be fine short term i reckon you can get 3.3 out of that chip and then you might be pushing it a bit
my old e2140 stonewalled at 3.15ghz

I am getting a maximum temperature of 58C IIRC under IBT which usually stresses CPUs more than most other software.

    Re: Overclocking an E2160

You notched up anyother Voltages, NB, PLL etc ?
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Nope!! I need to check if those options exist in the BIOS and if so what voltages should I look at?? I don't want to fry the motherboards and the heatsinks on the motherboard are quite small for the Asus P5K-SE:
