The best mouse.

Just wondering what peoples views are?

For me being left handed I'm somewhat restricted to either the rare Left handed mouse or the non-handed ones.

So far the best mouse I've owned is the Microsoft intellimouse. I bought one when they first came out and used it for some years before changing to a Razer diamondback which I hated in the end because of the problem of it not always working when you booted up.

A couple of years ago I bought a Logitech left handed mouse which was great to start off with but, the mouse pointer is not smooth in movement and I've found the shaped part for the thumb is actually not comfortable after a while.

Anyone else got a good mouse that doesn't cost the earth and works well? Preferably a wired USB one.

Probably some sort of razer. Most logitech gaming ones are right handed. Look for something that suits your hand size, wanted features and budget. Do you have large or small hands? How many side buttons does you need? Wireless? Sensitivity? How much do you want to spend?

Personally I love my Razer Copperhead but it isn't really that cheap. Off the top of my head, it doesn't have a handedness so will satisfy your requirement for being left handed and it has a nice long USB cable. It might be a bit over the top, though, with the blue lighting which you don't seem to be able to turn off (annoying if you leave your PC on overnight and you happen to share a room with it).
