Asus or Gigabyte?

I have narrowed down my choices for my next system.Need opinions on the following please:
Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P AMD 770
or
ASUS M4A785TD-M EVO AM3

This is to go with a 550 BE processor, 2 X 2 GB OCZ ram,corsair 650 PSU and probably a 5770 GFX card (I am a gamer).
I have owned gigabyte boards before but never an asus!

770 mobo, overclock better than 785's and you dont need the IGP.

I would go for the Gigabyte but since the VRMs do not have heatsinks I would attach a few to them if you intend to do overclocking on a quad core. The 770 based motherboards tend to have better overclocking ability and slightly better performance than a 785G based motherboard AFAIK.

Asus are good but you don't really need a 785G chipset motherboard as it's a motherboard with IGP and therefore as Blaineoliver says, 770 chipset is good for what you need.

I'm compelled to agree with the others in the thread - I'd opt for the Gigabyte.
