    Far Cry works better with a gig of RAM, I'm sure the likes of Doom III and Half Life II will as well. A gig is no longer the domain of the odd Flight Sim, its becoming more mainstream for gaming now.

    Consider a gig, when the prices are not as crazy as they are now.

    yeah i was just gonna say that vaul - the newer games benfit loads from a gig of ram. + you can disable virtual memory then which lowers window's overheads

    Just a point. I've built systems for quite a few friends and every single stick of ebuyer ram has failed so far. I wouldn't touch ebuyer ram with a barge pole
    I own a PC that changes regularly, so I don't bother putting anything in here...

    Cheap Memory and Cheap PSU are the scariest things.....both to be avoided.
