Can Nvidia motherboards unlock AMD processors??

This maybe a stupid question but can Nvidia processors unlock cores on AMD processors?? I think there is something called Nvidia Core Calibration but there is very little info on it!!

If core unlocking is possible which chipsets and motherboards can do so??

    looking at the following:
    http://www.overclock.net/amd-cpus/53...ing-guide.html

"Motherboard with ACC support (SB710 or SB750 southbridge) or NCC (Nvidia’s answer to ACC) AND supports core unlocking. More on specific boards and manufacturers later."

seems to suggest it should be able to do it, i've been looking at this myself since it's a cheap way to get quad core. Perhaps research it in that forum, may get some answers in there.

I wish I had bought this motherboard when it was around £35:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ASRoc...SATA-RAID-mATX

    It can unlock cores:

I should have bought one myself!!
