I like the silverstone itx cases i just wish they would do them to take a "proper" optical drive, slimeline blu ray drives are silly expensive.

Looks interesting, but agree with the lack of full size optical drive too expensive for a slim line optical

    Re: Silverstone SG07 first pictures!

Other itx cases allow full size optical drives, but they dont allow larger (real) graphics cards, id rather pay the extra for a slim drive, then have to deal without a good card

    Re: Silverstone SG07 first pictures!

Depends what the intended use is, if it HTPC (and cost is a factor) then fitting a normal size optical drive is more important if going blu ray, if its "only" gaming then slimline dvd drives are fine and gfx card size is more important. At the moment i am looking to build a htpc / daily use pc so for me the slimline optical drives make this, and the other itx silverstone cases as they all take slimline drives, pretty much a no no as i want blu ray, and they come in at well over £100 in slimline versions.

Thanks for the link to my website.

I added some specs just a second ago... Basically it is available in March or April at 150-200. Also, notice the bezel description...hmm

Should make for an interesting review

No problems!! I believe your website has something to do with HardOCP??

The bezel does not look good though!! Silverstone really needs to look at Shuttle to see how to design a nice looking SFF IMHO!

Nope! Nothing to do with HardOCP...I'm just a guy who likes small form factor computers.

This is a prototype and SilverStone keeps stressing this to me. I think it will change based upon input.

There is a link to the HardOCP forums in your website so this is why I thought this!!

I like SFF PCs too although I wish mini-ITX motherboards were not so expensive!! It would be useful if a socket AM2+ or AM3 mini-ITX motherboard would come out which had a PCI-E 2.0 16X slot!! Only Intel or VIA ones seem to have this which means Intel pretty much has the market for SFF PCs as even Shuttle have more Intel SFF PCs it seems!!

Yeah, the SFFClub forums are being worked on as we speak. I'm only one man working on the forums, articles, reviews, and various other content...so it's a lot of work!
