    Headphones

Currently using the Creative Fatality setup, but I'm starting to get back into gaming again I'm looking at the Zalman ZM-RS6F setup, anyone use these before, how do they rate?

Its either sometihng like that or a speaker setup, but thats going to cost more, looking at not spending more than £50 really, and I dont want headphones that vibrate, tried them before and bloody hated them..

    Re: Headphones

I recently picked up a pair of steel series 5H v2, very happy with them compared to my old 5.1 chn medusa headphones. Came to the conclusion that the 5.1 made little difference, and that stereo was fine for my use. After a bit of fiddling with my soundcard settings I can also get resonable music output. the mic is a good design that can be pushed back in the headphone to keep it out the way.

    Re: Headphones

For gaming, either Dolby Headphone on Xonar or CMSS-3D headphone on X-Fi gives more realistic surround sound with stereo headphones than my old 5.1 Medusas.

    Re: Headphones

Might have a poke at the XFI settings then and see how it goes...
