I'm having a clear out and have a collection of old PCI cards I just don't know what to do with.
Obvious answer is take it to the local dump where they tend to collect / recycle / resellold computer hardware. But I just wonder if there's a better / more ecological / more useful way of disposing of it.
It's old enough to not have any real value: things like an Aureal 3D sound card, Creative Labs DXR2 and DXR3 DVD MPEG2 decoder cards, DVB-S hardware MPEG2 satellite receiver card, TV tuner cards, graphics cards (even have an old 3Dfx card or two! for playing Quake2 in Glide rendered mode!)
So dump or another use? (Anyone's free to any of the above for the cost of postage).
