The ones in the front should be near the bottom - you can use one or two depending on how many disks you have there as these fans also keep the disks cool.

The one at the top rear should exhaust the hot air out of the case. Since your cooler will have two fans on it, one exhaust is fine and you may not even need it as one cooler fan blows onto the heatsink and the other draws hot air away from it towards the back of the case. Depending on how large your case is the exhaust and the cooler fans might end up quite close to each other - not a major issue if they are blowing the same way.

In summary what you suggest is fine

Re: Help with my build please guys

The rig is built and working great

I removed the 2 stock fans and replaced them with the 3 golf balls. 2 in the front and 1 as an exhaust.

the Noctua cooler is 1 hefty beast. My cpu is at 19-20'c idle. I haven’t had time to test it properly as I've had a busy weekend.

I ran into a couple of issues, but nothing major.

with the psu being a bit longer than the standard it has made the bottom vent unusable. Because it is only half modular I have 3 power connectors which are not being used just tucked under my drive bays, which I would have like to remove totally

I am going to have to buy an extension for the 8 pin mobo connector as its 1 inch to short to tidy away and is running over my gfx card

Other than that Everything is a dream. Just need next month to hurry up so I can buy my 5850 and new monitor.

Thanks again for all your help guys.
