    self build or shop?

    hi i am ready to buy my hardware etc, i am having doubts over my building skills but dont know who to trust to build it, i have heard very bad things about scan and other suppliers dont do building of systems. how much approx should i pay for a air cooled system no gaming extras?
    any advice would be great!

    If you are building a system for general use(no gaming) then £500 would probably be enough to build a reasonable system including a copy of Windows 7 and a monitor.

    i want the items i listed, i have a pc with good spec but i was thinking of a custom pc!
