I had a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1 kicking about, so I decided to put it in my computer over the onboard sound on my ASUS M3A78-EM.
Only problem is I have a front audio panel on my case that supports HD audio and AC'97, and I want the sound card to work with the front audio panel. First of all I don't know whether the sound card supports AC'97 or HD audio.
Secondly I want the sound card to play sound from DVDs on my optical drive and finally I want it to work with headphones plugged into the audio panel on the front of my case.
The soundcard has two connectors on it, a white connector with 8 pins in single file and a black connector with 4 pins in single file as well and aux-in written next to it.

I am guessing the black connector with aux in on it is for connecting the sound card to an optical drive, if anyone can link me to that cable it would be much appreciated.
Also if anyone knows a way to connect my sound card to the front audio panel using the white connector I would really appreciate that as well. The front audio panel has an interface for a motherboard like this one.
Thanks in advance!
