I have a 4850, which im guessing will start struggling at this resolution, so do i crossfire it with another for about £40, or sell it for that much and buy something else?

If you can get another 4850 for £40 then i'd definately go Crossfire !

Ive seen so many 4850s going for £45-50, i could get for £45 delivered.

Personally I'd start off just seeing how well your current 4850 copes, then consider improving.

CrossFire would work well, keep in mind that 4850s tend to run hot though and when graphics card fans speed up they tend to be noisy due to their small diameter.
I have a vortexx neo on my 4850 keeps it silent and 50 deg full load, Thanks for the advice, will keep my eyes open for the latest deals and get whatever costs the least.
