Are you planning on running the Caviar Blues in Raid 0 then?
I'm also intrigued as to why you've got one TriCool in there...?

A 60GB OCZ Solid 2 is £117. You could trim the build to fit that in, but you'd have to look at a HD5850, a cheaper PSU, and probably a cheaper case too. I'd be inclined to do it (then again, the amount I game & the resolutions I use I'd be happy with a 5770!), but obviously it's down to individual choice...

Otherwise it looks pretty good. I take it you've got an optical drive already?

Ohh left out the optical, good catch.

TriCool as an intake for the bottom of the case, its got the handy switch to control fan speed.

SSD dont interest me just yet, no value what so ever. Raid 0 no, just one drive for windows/games and one for work.

I'd also add in an aftermarket cooler, even if you don't plan to overclock it, a half decent cooler will make it more quiet

I wouldn't recommend tricools for such a quiet set-up as you have there. Get a nice quiet fan instead like another fractal fan as Pob said or some nice noctua or scythe fan.

Well to confirm suspicions i previously had a bit-tech review gave performance of the FD 6/10, pretty low, since it had the worst performance when it came to things like idle cpu/load cpu and all other temps. That was with the 1 intake and single exhaust. Obviously down to that fact, but also since those fractal fans are silent but run at low rpms. So i went 1 tricool for the bottom of the case.

I have just purchased and build a new rig into the r2 case (black) and it’s sweet. Had 2 issues with my build and I don’t think the case is to blame. My back bracket for my Noctua nh-u12p cooler doesn’t line up with the cut out on the mobo tray. I think this might be an issue with the placing of the socket on my gigabyte motherboard. So if you intend to find a 3rd party cooler get it now and bolt it on just incase.

My second issue was that the antec signature psu is about 1.5 cms longer than most psu’s so it made the bottom fan intake useless for a 120 mm fan I could probably fit a 80mm on but tbh its not needed. I have 2 sharkoon golfball 2000’s and intakes and 1 golfball as an exhaust and it seems to keep it nice and cool even with the door closed.

Theres quite a bit of space in the case as it fits the Noctua nh-u12p cooler in fine and it’s a beast of a cooler.

I have disconnected the power LED as it lights up my whole room like a solar flare.

I would recommend this case to anyone I love it.

Well, it's not my money, but if it was :

I'd get the Noctua NF-P12 fans. They're a tenner extra but the best fans I've ever used, bar none, given the combination of air flow, low noise and lack of intrusive noise (I've tried Scythe, Antec three speed fans, cheap stuff, Sharkoon and other premium ones). They have a five year guarantee, I suspect because they'll last forever (I hope).

I'm not completely up to date with hard drives, but I would question if WD are currently the best.

I'd also buy a different case. I've tried noiseproof cases like the Antec Solo in the past and am now on a Coolermaster Stacker, which is full of holes. It's my opinion that it's better to have a few quiet fans shifting air than an insulated case; the white noise of the fans is not disturbing. The removeable motherboard tray is also a large boon.

To echo other posts, I'd go for the Samsung drives.

I'd also suggest having a look around at prices for HD 5850s, as the jump to 5870 might not be worth the extra cash. Depends if you're gaming on a high resolution, I suppose.
