I can't get EMA because either my parents earn more than 30k a year or my parents are just stingy and won't let me apply for stupid reasons and i do help my parents at times at work but all the money is going towards my driving lesson.
I did think about a keyboard but like i said what is the point in spending a lot of money on a keyboard? i really don't see any reasons.
Like i said in previous post i got myself a Steelseries Kinzu mouse so my mouse is okay.
A good keyboard can make all the difference as you can press more than 2 buttons at once. Depends on how much you game etc. If your an avid gamer perhaps a decent mouse mat like an Everglide Titan. Or a decent headset so you can hear more clearly, and get less abuse of your parents late in the evening. Other than that use teh £60 towards you theory/practical test or more lessons.
How about windows 7?

The OP has a perfectly decent computer and TBH even Vista runs perfectly fine when you turn off some of the crap it has.
I would save the money towards a new system at some point in the future.
Kinda have to agree, cant see anything that a £60 upgrade would improve. save the cash for a bigger upgrade or when you pass that driving test some go faster strips / furry dice for the car!
I can understand why the OP wants to spend the money, I'm sure everyone at some point just wanted something that they couldn't really justify.
So as an alternative suggestion, have a look over at http://www.quietpc.com/gb-en-gbp/products
I could easily spend £60 over there making a computer quieter and more user friendly.
Just a thought
Imho just save the money, use it for petrol ^_^
lol i was thinking of that too but i was wondering if i should get the CM 690 dominator or wait because i really like the case design its simplicity making it really tempting.
As a student you're going to need to be able to tell the difference between need and want.
eg. You NEED petrol for your car, You want a new computer case.
You could always save it for a time when things go tits up. That always helps.
Well I am okay right now for petrol that is because my parents will give me money for parents, and it be coming out of my working money after driving lesson money.
