Upgrade Advice *£60 budget*

Hello guys,i know i haven't been posting in this forum for awhile and not long ago but i require some help,i was wondering what sort of upgrade i should take with a budget of £60??
My current system specs in my profile so tell me what i should upgrade.
I know i would probably need a new CPU and motherboard but i can only buy 1 thing so..i am opened to sugguestions.
So what would you do??
CPU?
Motherboard?
PSU?
Case?
Peripherals?

That seems a capable system.

What exactly are you having trouble running that requires an upgrade?

Edit to add: If you have 60 quid burning a hole in your pocket, do you have a Blu-ray drive?

CPU is the obvious weak spot in your system, but that is going to cost way more than 60 quid to make a worthwhile change.

The E6320 has 4MB L2 cache so it is still a decent processor especially since the OP has overclocked it!

The OP could try to get a cheap secondhand Q6600 and sell the E6320.

Well i don't have any issues with my current set-up its just outdated since my CPU is about 2 years old and trying get a Q6600 cheap is very rare now.
I don't have any need of a BLu-ray Drive.
Perhaps it is best to leave my system as it is and maybe buy something small like peripherals maybe?? I am opened to sugguestions.
I did see a P5Q-E P45 motherboard used on ebay for £55+postage i think.
The new Coolermaster 690 II advanced has caught my attention for awhile too very tempting.

Yeah i am using on board sound,but i don't think i have any sort of need of a sound card because i am only using 2.1 Logitech Z-4 speakers and i haven't really noticed any form of difference from an SB audigy sound card to my onboard.
I sold my audigy sound card long ago,so i don't think i would need a sound card.

I have a steelserie Kinzu optical gaming mouse too so i don't think i need a new mouse but i got some old microsoft multimedia keyboard,but i don't think its wise to spend so much money on a keyboard.

probably a push for your £60 budget, but maybe look into getting a second monitor, god knows your graphics card can handle it, that and a third!

What cpu cooler are you using?

scouring and waiting for a cheap 2nd hand quad core or socket775 motherboard or both is my only real suggestion.

What are you using in the way of hard drives? as that's another area where things could be carried across to a new build when you decide you want to do one.

I am using a 250GB and a 160GB HD both different models and a 35GB IDE HD so a RAID set-up isn't really an option right now.
and i am using a Coolermaster Hyper TX-2,i got no clue if my board can even overclock even higher i believe the maximum FSB speed my board can go is 400FSB.
I was thinking of games too.
And i don't think my parents will allow me to use lot of monitors and my budget is tight because i am 17 years old and i don't have a job and i don't get money to go sixth form/college(EMA)

Actually studies have shown that multi monitors (or larger monitors) make you more productive

Decent mouse? I've got the MX518 - it's quite nice . New keyboard? I'm a bit unusual in liking clicky buckling spring keyboards, but there are other options too.

Low end graphics tablet?
Bluetooth dongle to sync your mobile to your computer without a cable?

I have a Steelseries Kinzu Optical Gaming Mouse so i don't really need a new mouse at this moment .
A keyboard i don't really see the need of getting one but i would like a low profile style keyboard like laptops.

Also i don't have any need of a graphic tablet since i don't do any form of graphical work and i got built in bluetooth on my laptop.

The only obvious place to look in your current rig is the hard drives really, but £60 isn't going to buy you any huge performance improvements (unless you're using that crummy old IDE drive as an OS drive, that is ).

If I was you I'd get that £60 in the bank where it's safe. Oh.... hang on a minute...

(no, seriously. Save your £60 towards more worthwhile upgrades in the future )
