Probably not. Have you o/c'ed the current one? Also depends on your other system components really.
my mobo supports the xp3200 (msi kt6 delta lsr) , but i cannot afford the ddr400 mem as well so i would like to stick to 333fsb (present mem 1024 m/b ddr333 ;)
Whats your cooling like, I recon you may be able to o/c that chip to 3000+ speeds.
i tried changing the multiplier from 12.5 but in the bios it says 12.5/13 , and it locks the comp up at 14x166 , any ideas ?
ps: my cpu cooler is a q-tec enhanced overclocker hs/f (i know its a dreaded qtec :o )
What voltage / temps?
Have you tried giving the tweaking the fsb a bit? A combination of the two may work. You might have to lower the mem timings though.
will that damage the ram ? , its major on third ddr333
core center says 1.66v for the cpu and the temp never goes above 45c , even playing farcryQuote:

Shouldn't do. Just won't boot.
Platinum i have just noticed you have a amd64 3200+ , what they like and howmuch are they ?
