Win 7: After Sleeping, One of my Hard Drives is disconnected

After sleeping my machine, my HDD, a 1TB WD EAVS, fails to reconnect. Forcing me to Reboot to get it back.

    Any thoughts?

It's in Port 1 on an Asus P5K Deluxe...

How long are you leaving it after you wake from sleep? Might just take a while to wake up properly. Also, do you have your power options to spin down the hard drive when not in use?

Drives are always powered on, left it 30 seconds, and 5 hours. Still doesn't come back...

There are 3 other 1Tb WD EAVS drives in and they all come back, I was wondering if Port 1 might be screwed.

I had the same problem, you need the latest driver from intel as the one on the Windows disk causes this problem.

Will give this a shot, definitely didn't install the drivers - just let Win7 do its best...

Installed the Intel Matrix Storage Manager, and so far, so good I think...

    Many thanks!
