    what memory for a AMD Athlon 64 processor ?

    what memory do you need to run with the AMD Athlon 64 3000 ?

    Yea will work however you will need to set the ram speed to 333mhz, boards will usualy pick this up.
    It will cripple your performance a little though so I recomend upgrading to at least PC3200.

    thanks for the info , now why did i buy more ddr333 instead of ddr400 , i must be stupid

    but due to an understanding bank manager , i am getting a athlon64 3000 + mobo friday , but i will have to put up with 1 gig of ddr333 for the time being
