    Laptop cooling

    Hi

Some of you may have seen that i bought a new laptop in an earlier thread, it seems to get rather hot tho. (shuts itsewlf down every 3-4 hours or so due to heat) any one know if there is anyway to keeps temps down? (besides the obvious keep usage down) like is there anyway to change/add new fans or something.

you can also buy laptop cooling stands. sort of like a dock with fans to cool it down whilst you work. but it kind of defeats the idea of having a laptop.........

Falcon, write to the maunfacturer about the problem. I seriously think there might be something wrong with your laptop if it shuts down after 3-4 hours of useage, something like a cooling fan or heatsink might have come loose. See what the manufacturers say.
