    Re: Guess the mobo..

It looks like it's got both s370 *and* slot 1 connections?

A quick google's turned up a few similar boards, but nothing laid out quite like that. Is the ASUS box a clue or a red herring?

The asus box is a red herring, it was from a socket a a7n266-vm iirc

I reckon you'll get it soon because there were not that many boards like it lol

    Re: Guess the mobo..

quite a few boards were made with either slot1/s370 connections. I'd say either Asrock, PCChips or most likely ECS. Never seen a mini ATX version though...
    Moo.

    Spot on!!

I wasn't sure if anyone would get the exact model name as it looks very similar to the M748.

None the less it was well bad, soo slow - one of the worst Slot1/370 mobos ever made due to the SiS620 chipset.

its stable is about the only good thing i can say about it.

slow, god damn slow, SO FREEKING SLOW!!! MY GOD I AM GOING TO DIE THIS IS SO SLOW!!

"ahem after searching for ages for drivers and a new flash for the bios its still so slow that i want to rip my eyebrows off just for the entertainment value. now i'm not talking games performance, i'm talking stuff like processing a big spreadsheet or pulling up the system clock. its a celery 566 running win2k pro with 192mb ram and a 10gb hdd and honestly it has about the same responsiveness as my router (a pentium 166 w 64mb of ram & 4gb hdd running win2k server ) when i'm logged in remotley via terminal services. this board would be a good one to give to sombody you don't like. ( as long as the person was moving overseas otherwise they would probbably hunt you down peel your skin off and use it to beat you to death with)"

If someone else wants to carry this thread on with a pic of a mobo that might be hard to figure out go ahead, I find it interesting.

Just to prove it is, here is my site from 2005. If you scroll down a bit you can see it lol
