P4 or AMD shuttles (budget £225)

why so many shuttles using p4 and not amd on the higher end of the shuttle market?

do you think a P4 really is a better bet than a amd in SFF?

also if u had a budget of £225 for a shuttle which one would it be. (must has SATA but not raid).

    thanks

Well the obvious choice for the more budget option would be the AMD route

Is the budget for a full system or just the barebone?

In that case, an SN41G2 would be the best option. Use the onboard GFX, money saved and use the onboard sound, more money saved! So this extra cash can be spent on a more powerful chip and RAM and larger HDD and faster opticals if required

When faced with the same question I went SB75G2 (from a SN41G2). I was very tempted by the SN85G4 but I was sold by the meshed sides of the SB75G2. I'm sure you will be happy with either of them.

I went for the SB75G2 and would recommend it, my friend got the SN85G4 and had no end of problem and I don't think he was the only one either

Another vote for the sb75, you should also get the silent 250W psu as standard with the v2
