I've just tested speedfan and it's certainly working for the CPU temps on my Vaio BX51VN. Dunno about GPU temps though...
EDIT: just tested PC Wizard: it gives me CPU temps, but again no GPU / chipset temps. It may well be that my chipset doesn't have a dedicated thermal sensor...

I think GPU-Z has a temp logging function for GPUs.
I would try Notebook Hardware Control.
HWmonitor works a treat use it on mine.
GPU Observer is a nice gadget.
