Dead PSU/component disposal
I'm having a bit of a clearout, have found 8 dead out of warranty PSUs, mostly Antec.
Don't even ask me how many keyboards, mice, bits of cases, cards and motherboards I've found. :surprised:
I can't use my local tip as its in another councils area and I'm not wasting fuel traveling to my next nearest official tip as its over 20 miles away.
So my options seem to be regarding the PSUs:
Take them to the office and put them with the other faulty/dead bits that never get disposed of.
Send them back to the manufacturers without postage.
Strip them of grills, screws, fans and hope the local travelers take whats left.
Disguising them in domestic rubbish.
Any other ideas?
Cheers.
Re: Dead PSU/component disposal
Glue on some sharp nails and use them as a mace?
Re: Dead PSU/component disposal
Nearest tip and in a skip they go after perhaps removing the fans.
They don't need to know where you live!
Cheers

They do here, you need a resident permit or proof of residency in order to dump - http://www.worcestershire.gov.uk/cms...s-permits.aspx
