About LinkBacksI have 4GB of Dominator 1600, and 4GB of G.Skill Ripjaw 1600, not sure which to use in my main rig and which to use in my HTPC.

Dominators in your main rig as there a bit more boutique perhaps ?

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
Performance between RAM with the same speed and latencies is almost exactly the same so just pick whichever you want as it won't make much of a difference haha. Or if your HTPC has low airflow then use the ones with better cooling in it to ensure they don't overheat but IIRC Dominators and Ripjaws both have similar heatsink designs but I guess Dominators are taller and cover more.
