    MSI P45 platinum
    4GB DDR2 @ 513Mhz
    BFG OC2 GTX260

still need to run it with the gpu loaded, will edit when I've done that

I could probably lower those by a little bit as I haven't fully tweaked the voltages and power settings yet

Running with the gpu loaded will make a huge difference!

    Re: PC Power Consumption

Just upgraded my server and put the power meter on its plug before and after the upgrade (new CPU for it).

    Asus M2NPV-VM motherboard
    OCZ 400W PSU
    1TB Samsung F3
PCI ethernet card: 3c905 (to give 2 ports overall)
PCI Freeview TV card (Hauppauge 909)
    1GB DDR2 ram (Crucial, 667MHz, 2 sticks).

Was 52W idle on the old single core 3000+ (TDP 69W)
    Now 59W idle on a stepping G2 X2 5600 (2.9GHz, TDP 65W).

So I used 7W to get a 2x idle and 3x peak CPU power available. Wonder if this board can undervolt so I can get that back
