I've got the M4A785-TD-M-EVO (or whatever the ridiculously long name is ) and I rate it very highly - it unlocks the second core on my Sempy 140, undervolts by up to 0.3V (although I get instability running unlocked and undervolted ), and (in my opinion one of its best features) lets you run the 785G graphics on sideport memory *only*, allowing you to reserve all your system memory for actual system tasks I run it like this and it's perfectly adequate for full the Aero interface and DVD playback. There's a none "M" version which is full ATX, and obviously the M version is matx!

Minor hijack, but would this work on intel mobos too? Thinking about sticking one into my antec 300, from heatsink to exhaust fan at the back.

    Re: Passive cooling?

Though it was more by accident than design I can confirm the heatsink from the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro is capable of passively cooling a Q6600 under load.

Short version - It used to be running around 40-45C under load, but then the fan on the cooler failed and my temps rose to around 65C under load. Still well within safe limits, but I wasn't too keen on running without proper cooling.

I have since swapped over to a TRUE with one 120mm, and have my idle temps under 30C, and load temps 40-45C

I didn't have trouble with that, just the mounting system, with the springs being so tough and the general awkwardness of it .

Such a faff to put it on.
