Personally I use {DV 3081} Datasafe Ritek A Grade 4x DVD-R disc in packs of 25
They run great in my NEC 2500a, although I couldn't say for any other type of drive.
riteks with g04 dye is what i use. they are 4x ones. G05 dye is for 8x.
Any with G04 dye is perfect.
I also use the Datasafe ones from BlankDiscShop and have had 0 fails from 50 burns unless it was caused by Nero freezing and screwing it up The discs didnt fail tho.
The only bad thing now is they changed the desgn of the white datasfe discs so that you have to write on the right side of the disc instead of the bottom like my current ones
Thankyou, guys - I will go for any of the G04 Dyes, Cheers.
i agree the go4 dyes definetly the one to go for, but also if your gonna play it on a standard tosh dvd player i think you'll still need to set the booktype of the disc to something else, this is if your player is more then 3 years old i think the newer toshs will accept the dvd-r book type
