    guarantee OCZ & AMD?

Wondering what the guarantee on OCZ ram and AMD retail boxes was like?

I Just tried booting a pc in a machine project, it was assembled in 2008 and hasn't been run
since, not sure what's wrong yet. But as the ram and cpu are/should be covered, wondered
if it was worth trying to get the parts replaced, if I find they are possibly at fault?

    Re: guarantee OCZ & AMD?

HI - welcome to Hexus! (Interesting web site btw)

Check with the supplier in the first instance - some parts may have a lifetime warranty (some RAM does) but if it is over 12 months, it may be down to the mfr. Short answer is "It depends"

The ram has a lifetime guarantee, the cpu another 18 months.
I was wondering what they[AMD and OCZ] are like some companies seem to be
pretty dead beat with their guarantee's.
